What is CFASS?
It stands for Caregiver Family Supports Services. These Direct Service Providers work 1 on 1 with children and/or caregivers. They can provide support like guidance, or mentorship, or training and education. The purpose of CFASS sessions is to work on the child's social-emotional goals as outlined in the Plan of Care.
Who is eligible for CFASS?
CFASS is a service provided under HCBS (Home and Community Based Services). Children must meet HCBS eligibility and appropriateness criteria.
Where can CFASS sessions take place?
The provider can work with the child at home or in the community (i.e. at a library, park, etc.)
Are CFASS providers trained?
All providers have undergone significant training and background checks., They bring a wealth of experience in working with children and/or parents.
