We offer a wide array of Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) and case management, customized to meet each individual's unique linguistic, cultural, socioeconomic, developmental, and spiritual needs. We aim for all clients to successfully complete the program and achieve their personal, medical, and social goals.

We focus on fostering community connections and providing ongoing support even after they leave the program. We uphold the dignity of each individual, irrespective of race, religion, or personal circumstances. At Yeled LI, we require all staff to follow the highest ethical standards, ensuring that both care and business practices align with our mission and legal responsibilities.
We expect all personnel to avoid conflicts of interest and always act in the best interests of Yeled LI. Any violations of these standards must be promptly reported to a supervisor, the Compliance Officer (CO), or the Director of Human Resources for appropriate action.
Yeled LI has a Compliance Officer (CO) to ensure that the Compliance Program is effectively implemented. The CO is responsible for overseeing compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. The CO’s duties include:
● Supervising the execution of the compliance program● Conducting internal audits to assess compliance effectiveness● Providing guidance on compliance issues concerning policies, procedures, and regulations● Maintaining a reporting system (hotline) for concerns, complaints, and inquiries● Leading investigations and implementing corrective actions regarding compliance matters
The Yeled LI Compliance Committee provides advice and support to the CO in executing and monitoring the Compliance Plan, with relevant compliance issues reported as necessary.
Yeled LI requires that all employees, contractors, and vendors with significant decision-making authority disclose any history of non-compliance or involvement in healthcare-related criminal activity. Background checks are conducted using the following databases:

Training is a vital component of the Compliance Program's success. All employees, contractors, and volunteers are required to complete compliance training at hire and annually thereafter. The training covers:
● Overview of Corporate Compliance● Relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines● Prohibition of improper remuneration and kickbacks● Proper documentation of services● Reporting obligations and prohibited actions, such as falsifying medical records
Employees must acknowledge receipt of training materials, and attendance is mandatory for continued employment.
Yeled LI encourages open communication among employees, clients, and stakeholders. We provide a secure environment for reporting concerns related to fraud, abuse, waste, neglect, and any other potential violations, including misuse of Medicaid resources. Reports can be made through email, phone, or mail. Anonymous reporting is accepted, and confidentiality is guaranteed.
The Compliance Officer, in collaboration with the Compliance Committee, is responsible for investigating all potential violations. Investigations may involve interviews, document reviews, and consultations with legal or government authorities. At the conclusion of the investigation, a report will summarize findings, conclusions, and recommended actions. All investigation records are confidential and privileged unless approved for release by the Compliance Committee or legal counsel.
Yeled LI is committed to protecting employees who report concerns about Agency practices. Under the False Claims Act, employees are protected from retaliation, harassment, or discrimination for reporting suspected violations, including healthcare fraud or substandard quality of care. Yeled LI ensures that all employees can report concerns safely and confidentially, without fear of retribution.
